Description: This is an antique telephone operator "hands free" headset and microphone from around 1925-1930. The bakelite mouthpiece is in good condition with no cracks or chips but there are some scratches. The earpiece has some corrosion on the back. There is a bit of rust on the headset band and some of the chrome is worn off around the chest piece. Also, whatever the straps were on the chest piece are gone. There is a four pin connector that has some oxidation on it but when a battery is touched to two of the pins the earpiece clicks. The cloth covered wiring is in pretty good shape. Please look at the pictures.The Chrome on the chest set has #21 marked on it. The Bakelite Mouthpiece has M-123 marked on it and the earpiece has No. 29 marking.
