This listing is for an Antique Victorian Mourning Locket Brooch Pin detailed with Black Paste Glass Jewels and seed Pearls there is a beveled clear glass lens on the locket - This item was recently purchased from an estate. Specifications: This is a USED/PRE-OWNED Item -See Below for Condition Report. MATERIAL: Gold filled or rolled gold Plated base metal, Glass, Seed Pearls and what looks like a black fabric material inside the locket SIGNED: Not marks that I can find DIMENSIONS: 1 3/16" x 1" at the largest points GEMSTONES: black Glass jewels, seed pearls MONOGRAMS: None WEIGHT: 5.4 grams CONDITION: the Black paste glass jewels are in good condition with no large chips that I can find. There are some small fleabites, minor dings, nicks, scratches, etc in some areas, though not large/deep or objectionble. The seed pearls have natural irregularities and imperfections in the nacre layer, as well as some small flakes, scuffs, scratches, dings, nicks, etc. in areas The clear glass locket lens is in good condition, with a few scuffs, scratches, etc. The metal is gold filled or rolled gold plated base metal, with some areas of wear to the gold layer - There are some scratches, scuffs, dings, nicks, etc. on the metal in areas as well as some patina, tarnish etc. The catch appears to be a replacement.
