You are viewing a Vintage Antonius Stradivarius Cemonensis Faciebat anno 1721 Violin. Made in Czechoslovakia, has a 2 piece maple tiger stripe back and sides, spruce top. I am unsure of the exact age, The violin appears to be in good condition for its age. Here is what I know about the Violin; 1. Being and old violin it has some dings and nicks and shows some age cosmetically, there are from what I can see a hair line crack forming on the top side lower upper bout and one by the f hole, they may be only in the finish. I do not know deep the cracks run and can not make any promises on the condition of the cracks, if cracks or hair line cracks are an issue this violin may not be for you. Please see pic for all details. 2. has 4 pegs 3. It has a bridge, the bridge looks like it works well. 4. It has 4 fine tuners5. The tail piece and the tail piece hanger looks to be in good condition. 6. The violin looks to be in good condition, the strings look to be good however being an older set they may soon need to be replaced. Since I do not have the experience to say how it plays it may need set up to the players own specifications. 7. It does not come with a bow only the violin and a case for shipping. 8. The case is for a viola and is a little big and has a bad latch and is cracked in several places, the case is FREE for shipping purposes only, it does help to protect the instrument. measurements are approx: body 14 1/4" long lower bout 8" wideupper bout 6 3/8 " widethick 1 9/16" at the bottom center across the end pin, ALL OUR INSTRUMENTS ARE CHECKED PRIOR TO LISTING AND BEFORE SHIPPING.
