Description: This is an earlier Antique Art Deco bracelet signed OTIS STERLING. The construction can be traced back to patents issued in 1917 to the Wachenheimer Company which was bought out by OTIS. These patents defined a new way to construct a chain bracelet which did not require solder , but rather a series of links which could easily be attached or removed. They featured a jeweled fold over clasp as does this bracelet. Definitely one of the most popular designs at the time. This bracelet is 7 inches long, 1/4 inch wide and 3 mm thick. It features ruby red and clear paste stones and is in remarkably excellent condition for the age. What a nice wearable piece to add to your vintage collection.
