Description: Art Deco pot metal rhinestone Bird of Paradise, Parrot pin.brooch. 1930s. Canary yellow. It's about 3" from the head to the end of the tail. All the stones are in place and look original to me. Two stones look like they are darkening but I am leaving the pin in its original condition. The metal is in good shape on the front of the piece. There are small spot of flaking at the back. See pictures. The pin mechanism works well. It's in typical vintage condition with some aging to the piece. See the pictures. These birds are frequently in costume jewelry books, unmarked and usually estimated value of around $60-$100. Photos are part of the description so look through them as well and let me know if you have any questions prior to bidding or purchasing. Your satisfaction with your purchase is very important to me. Also note I do not ship internationally. I have been collecting vintage jewelry from the 50's and 60's for decades with all of it acquired prior to 2014. It's time to pass it along so I will be listing my entire collection bit by bit. There is Kramer, Weiss, Coro, Trifari, Jomaz, Schiaparelli, Boucher and more. If you are a collector, watch my site and let me know if you are interested in something. I will gladly answer any questions and I am happy to consider offers.
