Description: Antique postcard. Asian girl standing at row boat. Some pink sky coloring. Circa 1909. No writing or postage. Great-uncle collected postcards while a Marine on a Navy ship sailing around the world, very early 1900s. Although the card seems to have Japanese writing - the card itself is in French. And Uncle Axel visited the Philippines, China, Japan and countries that have had name changes, boundaries changed, disappeared etc., so have to say this card is just what it is - basically a b/\w photo of a young girl, holding a board, standing in front of a row boat. Great-uncle kept his collection in a wooden box. Please see photos.
