Description: For your consideration is a rare printing of "Aucassin and Nicolete" from the fantastic artisans at the Roycroft Press. No stated printing date but these were done at the collective in 1899. Check out the Roycroft Movement if you're not already aware. Really neat! This product of theirs is in overall good condition for its age, though the binding is fairly dry and the pages must be handled with care. No loose pages though. Wonderfully handmade with a suede cover, illuminations, gold detailing, etc. Pages are very clean with no writing, no tears, no water damage, etc. Not perfect (please see photos) but pretty darn good.
