Description: My mother bought this toy dream kitchen for me when I was a little girl in the 1960's. Honestly, I don't remember playing with it (maybe it was too fancy, lol). Still with the original instructions, this toy set shows an amazing attention to detail. The dishwasher unit and sink unit both have actual water tanks.The refrigerator has shelves which pivot out, and lots of tiny toy food to go in it, including a carton of eggs, fruits, vegetables, even tiny ice cube trays. There is a table with four chairs, in Danish modern style, which can be set with plates, cups and silverware for a Barbie family of four! The oven range has a rotisserie in it, with a mechanism on the back and place for C batteries. This set is over 60 years old, but was barely, if ever, used. The actual mechanisms, like the water systems and the battery-operated oven, are untested.One chair is missing parts of two legs. The rotisserie turkey is missing. The instruction sheet is in poor shape, but the toys themselves are in good shape. Still,considering its age, this little dream kitchen is unbelievably cute and beautiful. It's like you're back in the 60s again! Your Barbie doll will love it! And yes, coincidentally, my name really is Barbara.
