Description: Beautiful oval shaped salt cellars with an intricate design, with spoons which are not an exact match with the salts but also feature an intricate design on their handles.The maker mark on the salts is JR (John Rose) and the maker mark on the spoons is JG (Possibly John Gilbert & Co) The salt hallmarks are anchor (Birmingham), Lion (Sterling), l (1910) The spoon hallmarks are anchor (Birmingham), Lion (Sterling), h (1970)Good overall condition however there may be signs of age and use. Dimensions of the salts are approximately 2 1/2'' / 6.5cm length, 1 7/8'' / 4.5cm across, 1 1/2'' / 3.5cm height. The spoons are approximately 2 3/4'' / 7cm in length. We are experienced at wrapping and safely shipping china, glassware and breakables and have an excellent track record for safe arrivals. Most of our packing material is recycled thanks to donations from village residents and businesses so we don't stint on wrapping.
