Description: Hi! You're looking at a great condition vinyl LP and a 1960 recording and FIRST PRESSING and MONO issue on the Columbia Records label with the "Six-Eye" label and a recording featuring the DAVE BRUBECK QUARTET with (on side one) conductor and composer LEONARD BERNSTEIN and the NEW PHILHARMONIC and titled "Bernstein Plays Brubeck Plays Bernstein"--the quartet features DAVE BRUBECK on piano, PAUL DESMOND on alto saxophone, EUGENE WRIGHT on bass and JOE MORELLO on drums. The Quartet is joined by Bernstain and the New York Philharmonic on side one and performs "Dialogues for Jazz Combo and Orchestra" composed by Dave Brubeck's older brother HOWARD BRUBECK; side two features the Quartet performing "Maria," "I Feel Pretty," "Somewhere" and "Tonight' from the recent Leonard Bernstein show "West Side Story" and "A Quiet Girl" from Bernstein's "Wonderful Town." The LP is a 1960 Columbia Records issue with the "6-Eye" label and serial number CL 1466 and a high fidelity MONO issue made in the United States. This LP is in great condition and the vinyl is in VG++ condition and should play very well, with a tiny scratch on the center third band of side one which may produce light pops on a few revolutions, a few slight hairline marks, a few moderate scuffs and some light paper scuffs that should not significantly affect play except for possibly a few light and scattered tics; the cover is in NEAR MINT- (Ex) condition with light ringwear on the front surface, a tiny owner's name and address sticker on the lower left corner of the back surface, a slight 1 inc h split on the upper left edge at the spine end, some light abrasions on the edges, very light dings on the corners and just light shelfwear otherwise--it's NOT a cutout!
