Description: A excellent RARE ORIGINAL boer war khaki Foreign Service pith helmet, this is an original pre 1900 helmet not a copy or replica, helmet has had a front plate at one stage, never had a puggaree, overall service wear but in brilliant condition. Included is a brass spike and chinchain if you want to display it that way an exceptionally hard to find item now in any condition this would suit any uniform from British, Australian, Canadian, NZ etc this helmet is out of my personal collection of approximately 10 Foreign Service pith helmets that i am likely selling off over the coming months
