Description: A complete set of the 6 novels that were selected by the Booker Prize judging panel on 6 September 2022 as their Shortlist for the 2022 Prize. ** On 17 October 2022 at the prestigious London award ceremony, 'The Seven Moons of Maali Almeida ' by Shehan Karunatilaka was named the winner of The Booker Prize for 2022 ** The authors on this year's shortlist are from the UK (Garner), the US (Everett and Strout), Ireland (Keegan), Sri Lanka (Karunatilaka) and Zimbabwe (Bulawayo, who is US-based). The books on this year's Booker Prize shortlist, in author-surname alphabetical order are : 'Glory ', by NoViolet Bulawayo, published by Chatto and Windus in London on 7 April 2022, large modern hardback, [x] + 403 pages. 'The Trees ', by Percival Everett, published by Influx Press in London on 24 March 2022, standard modern paperback original, 337 pages. 'Treacle Walker ', by Alan Garner, published by 4th Estate in London on 28 October 2021, medium modern hardback, [viii] + 152 pages. 'The Seven Moons of Maali Almeida ' by Shehan Karunatilaka, published by Sort of Books in London on 4 August 2022, standard modern hardback, [xii] + 386 pages. 'Small Things Like These ' by Claire Keegan, published by Faber and Faber in London on 21 October 2021, medium modern hardback, [viii] + 116 pages. 'Oh William ', by Elizabeth Strout, published by Viking in London on 21 October 2021, 1st edition, medium modern hardback, [x] + 240 pages. All of the books are the UK edition, 5 of them are hardbacks, the Everett book is only available in paperback both in the UK and the US. 'Oh William' is signed by Elizabeth Strout to a special 'exclusive signed edition' page. Claire Keegan has signed her book to a special publisher bookplate affixed to the title page. These were the only 2 titles you were able to find with the author's signature in the UK edition (ahead of the pre-Booker signing events in the final few days before the prize was announced). 4 of the books are 1st printings of the 1st edition - the Garner and Keegan books were already elusive to find in 1st printings before the longlist was announced, perhaps not surprising as they were published in October 2021. These copies are 4th printing (Garner) and 16th printing (Keegan). All books are in As New unread condition. ** A complete set of the 6 Booker Prize shortlisted novels for 2022. An opportunity for the collector to ensure they have a full set of the books, as well as a 1st printing copy of the winning novel 'The Seven Moons of Maali Almeida '. Additional books can always be added to a combined order for an additional postage cost based on extra 0.25kg bands of weight, with an extra postage cost per extra 0.25kg of £1.20 for Europe / £2.00 everywhere else - please contact if any questions. Multiple items - Please review my other listings to see if there are any other items which are of interest to you. I will be pleased to provide a suitable invoice for combined postage cost for 2 or more items. If you have won an item and intend to bid on any other items which end on different days, I would be grateful if you would drop me a message. Postage – All of my books are triple wrapped for delivery to maximise their safety - firstly in bubble wrap protection, secondly in either a padded envelope or a cardboard box, and finally in thick parcel paper. For UK mainland - all items above a fairly modest value I will send via either signed for Royal Mail and/or courier options whichever is the best, this being largely dependent on the weight of the object. I am more than happy to post overseas on the basis that all items will be posted by Airmail with a signature required on delivery. If you are overseas, please feel free to enquire about postage charges ahead of registering a bid if you are unsure of the cost I may have outlined above, where costs may be prohibitive depending upon where you are in the world and the weight of the item, many thanks. Feedback – I will be delighted to provide feedback for a winning bidder once they have done so first to ensure that the item has arrived safely. In the event a winning bidder has any queries around a product following receipt, I would be pleased to deal with any queries via my business mail address or the Ebay message function in an effort to resolve matters ahead of any mutual feedback being provided, thanks. Many thanks for looking at my items and good luck with any bids you make. I will be regularly listing items for sale, please save me as one of your favourite sellers for the future, thanks.
