Condition: Some minor fading to the dark areas of the image, and minor scuffs to the leather case otherwise very good. Wear commensurate with age and use. Notes: A very nice quality Victorian sixth plate ambrotype of a seated gentleman, by Bowman of Glasgow. A note reads "Uncle John Cairns, died 1924/25 aged 98.
