Description: Up for sale here is this rare Brook tube amplifier. I believe this is a Model 22-A, but it does not have a model number on it. This is an extremely nice one! It is in great physical condition, with light overall wear and a few areas with more wear. This is a small spot of corrosion on the top cover (up front left), and a discolored area on the top grate right over the 5U4G tube. One side has some slight scrapes, probably from storage/handling. All the knobs are there and are in great shape. The controls all move smoothly and feel great. I checked the fuse and it is still good. The tubes are all there. The 12AU7s are vintage RCA long gray plates, the 5U4G is probably an RCA, and the two 2A3s are one Sylvania and one Raytheon. The 6SJ7 and 6C4s are present as well, but I didn't take a close look at them. The tubes are all untested and may need replacing, I do not know. I did not swap tubes out or anything, this is exactly as I found it. I took the bottom off for some pictures, and everything underneath looks original to me. The AC cord is nice and flexible, it is not brittle or frayed. Overall the amplifier still has a fair amount of dust and will need some cleaning--I did not want to scrub it and risk damaging anything. For that reason, I did not power this up. This amp is completely untested, and is sold as non-working, for restoration. US shipping and handling is $100. If you have any questions, please ask. I have a LOT of pictures posted, so please take a look at all of them. I have more amplifiers and other vintage electronics listed--feel free to take a look!
