It is a borderline unicorn, very highly coveted in the luxury world. If you collect Cartier pieces, then you understand how rare this watch is. For your consideration, fabulous and rare, authentic vintage "Cartier" American Tank 18K yellow gold watch in size moyen/ medium. The medium size is the "Goldilocks" of all sizes. It is not too big, not too small. This beautiful piece is Swiss made, water resistant, solid 18K gold with Roman numerals and genuine Sapphire accent. A heavy piece with 19mm x 35mm case. The bracelet will fit size 6.5" wrist. It is numbered and there are many stamps, logos and tiny markings which show authenticity. The great thing about Cartier watches is, the number specific to this watch is in the Cartier data base. If you take it to get serviced or cleaned at any Cartier boutique, they can give you its service history with all dates. Guaranteed authentic, purchased by my Aunt in Cartier of Monaco, circa 1990's. She has been collecting Cartier watches for decades and has given me 3 over the years, including this one. I wore this watch on and off since 2009. It's in excellent condition. The gold is still shiny and the face is flawless. I see some tiny scratches on the gold bracelet. However, you have to put your nose up to the watch to see them. Barely noticeable and not even worth mentioning. Cartier can buff and polish them out with a professional cleaning. I'm including a Cartier box with purchase, that goes to my Panthere watch (which I will never sell). I can't find the box for the American Tank but, will include the one in the listing that goes to my Pathere watch, for your storage needs. This watch will fit a small and medium size arm the best.
