Description: This radio is in excellent physical shape. No breaks or cracks. Takes 6 D batteries and the battery compartment is clean. I put 6 fresh batteries in it to test, and I was able to listen to the AM station foam 12 miles away and was able to tune in CB transmissions from the Interstate 6 miles from my house. I was NOT able to verify the transmission or the outbound tone from the Morse Code. The antenna is complete and expands smoothly. Very nostalgic and looks great on display to listen to at the very least.
