Description: This sale is for a very strange yet uniquely curious custom made Chess & Checkers set. I purchased this set from an estate sale. The creator, Charles D. Severson, obviously put a lot of time & effort into the creation & design as each piece is individually packaged & the wooden case it comes in is incredibly well made & definitely not cheap. The board is made of wood and is huge measuring 24” X 24”. The pieces are made of some type of plastic material. There are also plenty of extra Chess & Checkers pieces. Not exactly sure why he included so many pieces but theres almost enough for 2 sets. Maybe in case you lose a piece. Theres definitely enough Checkers pieces for 2 sets. Your guess is as good as mine. See pics for the design of the pieces themselves. If you are seriously interested please reach out to me prior to purchasing because I think I can do better on the shipping cost because ebay tends to charge a lot for shipping.
