The image is sublimated to the surface so it won't fade, crack or peel. This is a high quality mouse pad that will take all the abuse your mouse can give it. It makes a great gift for yourself or someone else. You can sent the picture through an eBay message. Text can be sent in the note to seller or through an eBay message. Text will be copied and pasted AS SENT, so be sure it's the way you want it - capitalization, spelling, punctuation, etc. I will send you a preview (usually within about 3 hours, check spam/junk mail). Changes are welcome but I will ship this out the next business day, so check your email for it. If I don't hear from you I will assume that you approve of the preview as sent.
