Description: Vintage Obsolete offer . . . 70's Dashiki SHIRT !! This auction is for 1 original SHIRT. Measurements = 26" down x 21 1/4" across chest . . . then 24" across bottom - looks like size Large or maybe a woman's XL. Condition is used with a few imperfections, but nothing major. I acquired this in the 80's from a friend, who found it at a thrift store that specializes in vintage. I wore it very little, then stored it away for decades. It is definitely from the 70's or perhaps even the 60's. It features 2 pockets on the front and belled angel wing sleeves. (They don't make them like this anymore). On the front is a round neck formation, with an added V-neck cut-out that is hemmed appropriately. On the back of neck area is an extra fold of fabric (see pics). The pattern is a printed on style, like most dashikis. The fabric is thin and lightweight, intended for hot summer outdoor wear. The colors are very beautiful and it is a rare piece. There is a little bit of fading, but not much. I am now sacrificing at a bargain price for someone else to enjoy. The folding creases from storage should wash out or iron out.
