Description: Nearly thirty five years ago in Hampshire, England, a young tea-trader pursued his vision to create exceptional tea that could be enjoyed by everyone. Today, his family business Ahmad Tea brings over 30 million cups of tea a day to tea lovers in 80 different countries. Ahmed is well-known in England as a connoisseur's brand, teas carefully blended and chosen from only the best tea plantations. This is a teapot with Ahmed's logo on it. It is off-white (almost entirely white) in color, and has a neo-classical or Regency-style look to it--a combination of traditional design and perhaps a bit of the Chinese influence brought to England and famously enshrined in the Brighton Pavilion by Prince George ("Prinny"). It is 9.75" tall and 5.75" in width. I think this was only displayed, never used. Looks great, although pre-owned. Has a minimal amount of dirt on unglazed circle on base, probably will wash off and probably a result of shelfwear. A bit of crazing on bottom also, but no chips or cracks.
