Description: Polychrome Jasper also goes by the name of Desert Jasper. It is a nodular Jasper found in Madagascar. It has quickly become a popular variety due to its incredible hardness and the rarity of fractures. It takes a great polish! Due to how solid it tends to be, it makes great carving material. It can have a large mix of colors, and with Polychrome, you generally don't know what you'll get until you cut it. On rare occasion is can even have orb like structures or beautiful sunsets! All photos are taken with the stones wet to simulate a polish. Weight: Approx 29 lbs I do my best to represent the stones with photos. I don't enhance photos, though sometimes brightness and contrast on monitors may differ, and while a photo may look just like the rock on my end, it will sometimes appear brighter or duller on your end. I run my monitor at default brightness and contrast settings.
