The Prec knob is there to sculpt your mids and the tone knob gives you a darker tone too high sizzle This very effective with what kind of speaker and amp you’re using I find and for helping cut through the mix in a band setting. ————————————————————————————— I have tested various distortion pedals looking for a budget friendly yet multiple use distortion/overdrive pedals and I have found this Mosky Crunch Red and US Dream to offer the most bang for your buck! Use them for a clean boost (lots of volume on tap for both Crunch Red and US DREAM) use them for transparent crunch or go all out high gain rhythm/lead tone.
