Description: Offered for your consideration is a tankard style clear glass cream pitcher with ruby stain and gold trim made by A. H. Heisey and Company (1896-1957) in their pattern number 1255. Also known as "Pineapple and Fan", this pattern was introduced in 1899. The creamer is engraved "M. A. H. 1898", the date being one year earlier than the documented introduction date of this pattern. The small tankard creamer measures 5.25 inches (13.3 cm) tall, slightly over 2 inches (5.1 cm) in over all diameter, and is approximately 3 inches (7.6 cm) long from end of spout to outer edge of handle. This creamer is in excellent used condition with no cracks, chips, noticeable roughness, nor repairs. The ruby stain has scratching, wear, and some fading in places; the gold trimmed rim also shows some wear. Creamer is used so there may be additional indications of use. See photos. The glass is bright and clear with no cloudiness, discoloration, nor lime scale present. There may be bubbles, shear (straw) marks, and other minor imperfections due to the manufacturing process used at the time. Cream pitcher will be shipped from a smoke-free home and will be packed securely for shipping. Good luck and thank you for your interest.
