Egyptian Walking Onions 1 LB Topsets Bulblets Organically Grown from Maine

Description: You will receive 1 LB of bulblets, small to large organically grown Catawissa Egyptian Walking Onion topsets from my garden in Maine Instead of flowers, this plant produces topsets, a cluster of bulblets, at the top of the stalk where the flowers and seeds would normally be. The stalks eventually flop over from the weight of the bulblets (if not harvested) and replant themselves, thus beginning their “walk” across the ground. Also called tree onions or topset onions, this vigorous and trouble-free plant is hardy in zones 3-10. Plant them to the top of the bulb leaving the tip exposed. Place them 5-6 inches apart. Press down on the top of the soil to remove any air pockets. For a small investment over time you will have onions for years and years to come. We've been harvesting our onions nearly 50 years. Thank you.....
