Hall is considered by many to be the greatest Irene Dunne fan to have ever lived. A former president of the Irene Dunne Fan Club, Hall went on to accumulate an extensive collection of the starlet's memorabilia. At his death the collection included thousands of posters, photographs, diaries, books, ephemera and other personal items that once belonged to the starlet.
