Description: This is back when Darren Dowler was still with them. They were really at their best then. This is a live album, but the quality is studio quality. Not much live banter, it was taken out, but the music is all there. Wow. If you've ever been to a Lettermen performance, they are so energetic and fast paced. Tony Butala is the leader/owner of the group and this is when Al Abano was their conductor/arranger. He is the secret behind these beautiful songs. He died of cancer, but he could bring out the best harmonies from the Lettermen. This is especially evident in "What Now My Love."Donovan is a baritone, but he can sing high harmony as well. His solos are spectacular. Darren sings Whitney Houston's "If I Don't Have You" and Darren can match Whitney note for note. This is just their greatest album, second would be their Christmas album, "Most Wonderful Time of the Year" also with Darren Dowler. However, Darren left the group and was replaced by Mark Preston.
