Description: One pound of Beautiful evergreen vine that can trail along the ground or grow vertically up trees, fences, walls and hillsides. This is enough to make into at least 50 to 60 individual plants of you choose but will come in several large stands so you may do with them as you'd prefer. The ivy will be freshly unearthed at time of purchase and shipped directly to you. This is a fast growing species as you can see by the photos, it can take over your yard in some areas. I don't mind this as it gives a certain ambiance and whimsical jungle feeling, but if you prefer not to have it take over in this way you'll have to keep it trained and under control. Most common type of growth lacks flowers and has green, lobed leaves with light veins that grow alternately along trailing or climbing stems.Leaf shape and size varies from deeply to shallowly lobed and from small, narrow leaves to large, broadly shaped leaves.Mature form of growth has shiny, unlobed leaves that grow in dense, whorl-like clusters and produce umbrella-like groups of small yellow-green flowers in the fall, followed by dark purple-black berries in the late winter or early spring. Long running stands of English ivy will be freshly dug from earth, roots in tact. One pound of ivy can produce at least 50 individual segments, best to keep the long vine in tact until received so you can propagate the vine freshly and in any way you'd prefer. Vines are trailing or climbing, and can reach 90 feet long with stems of 1 foot. Fast growing plant, good for ground cover or decorative purposes. Creates whimsical foliage.
