Description: Increase your Ensoniq sequencer memory with this pair of new IC's. The SQX-70 sequencer memory expanders increase sequencer capacity, reduce disk swaps, prolong floppy drive life, and load larger songs. Expand the sequencer memory of the TS-10 and TS-12 to 97,000 notes; the SD1, SD1-32, and VFX-SD to 75,000 notes; the SQ-1, SQ-1 Plus, and the SQ-2 to 58,000 notes; the KS-32 to 58,000 notes. The SQX-70 expanders are not applicable for the VFX or the SQ rackmount versions. For proper operation on the VFX-SD, the ROM version must be 1.37 or higher. For proper operation on the SQ-1, the ROM version must be 1.01 or higher. To find what ROM version your Ensoniq has; press and hold the Presets button and press the Master (System) button. The ROM version will be displayed briefly. To check if your Ensoniq Sequencer has already been upgraded; save your sequences to floppy disk, erase all sequences from memory, then check the # of free notes in your sequencer. The maximum # of sequencer notes for each Ensoniq is listed in the previous paragragh. Easy to read installation instructions are included. Its a simple job that takes about 10 minutes. My installation instructions tell you what to do before you start, how to handle the IC's, and what to do after you close the keyboard case up. Everyone of my customers has installed the IC's successfully with no complaints. I have three different installation sheets because the install is a little different for each model of Ensoniq.
