Description: They definitely don't make them like they used to ~ some of it is not politically correct for today! Up for auction August 1938 ESQUIRE ~ The Magazine for Men. Love the blond, pop-eyed, mustachioed character named "Esky" (created by cartoonists E. Simms Campbell and Sam Berman), who graced almost every Esquire front page for over a quarter of a century, depicting the refined character of the magazine and its readership, mostly in the form of figurines, although during the 1950s, a stylized design of his face would often appear. This is a large format over 10" x 14" magazine with 162 pages of articles, cartoons and ads of the day ~ great writers, illustrators, pictorials, advertisements, fashion and so much more. For a very old magazine it is in remarkable condition. See my condition description and all photos as this is what you are buying. Let me state right up front ~ I am no EXPERT!
