Condition: very good, technique : etching frame : in passepartout Pavelka František František Pavelka (June 24, 1894 in Nechanice - September 21, 1948 in Prague) painter, illustrator and graphic artist He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague from 1914, first for three years at the general school with Professor Jan Preisler and the next three years at the special school with Professor Max Švabinský. From 1920 he worked as a secondary school professor, from 1925 at a real gymnasium in Česká Lípa and later worked in Prague. In 1925, he was awarded the "Cavaliere dellˇOrdine della Corona dˇItalia" by the Italian government. In 1930, he undertook study trips to Italy, Sicily and Tunisia as a scholarship holder. In 1923, he had a collective exhibition in České Budějovice, and in November 1932 he had an exhibition of his drawings in Prague.
