Description: A very rare early Kellogg's Pop Tarts Wrapper likely from the first batches of Pop Tarts in 1964. Could be from 1965 because I believe they used that baked-in diagonal crease for about a year. By luck, this package was balled up and missed the garbage. Instead, landed in a box of toys that went into storage for 50+ years. I bought the toys and, to my surprise, one of the first Pop Tarts foil packages ever made. It has obvious creases due to it being balled up but thanks to the foil packaging it could be flattened to reveal it maintains its color and graphics. It's still quite aesthetically pleasing. Regardless of what you feel about the condition, I cannot find a Pop Tarts package of this age past or present. So most kids were good at balling these up and getting their trash 2-points (they do actually make really good trash balls!).
