Description: I had a lucky find at an estate auction: a collection of collars and dickies from the 1910-30s. This one is a dickie front with an attached collar. It is a pale cream in color. It is made with a large rectangular panel measuring 19" long by 9" wide that covers the front. The panel is made of lace: at the sides there is a hexagonal pattern with the center 4 to 5" in a floral pattern. At the top a rounded collar is set in, as shown, made out of the same lace patterns. The collar is split in front and edged in a narrow lace. You would fasten the collar in the center back. This is in very good antique condition with no stains, rips, or holes, but there are a few broken connectors and a bit of raveling on the corner as shown in closeup. Just imagine how pretty this will look with a sweater or jacket over it! I'll be listing more of these lovely pieces, so stay tuned and check my listings.
