Jones 1936"). The violin is responsive and has complex tone and strong projection sustained all the way into the higher positions. Characterized by good tonal clarity and rich resonance. The instrument is in excellent vintage condition. There are minor nicks and scratches - please study the images carefully - but no cracks or other structural defects. Fully maintained, play-ready. Has been updated with high grade fittings (Aubert De Luxe bridge; Teller pegs and tailpiece; Gewa chinrest; etc.). The peg box has been skillfully maintained with bushings.
