Description: I have for sale a very early fireplace mantle circa 1870. This mantle was probably made on site as it came from the middle of Pennsylvania. The wood is very thick. It is heart pine. The sizes are as follows width is 51 inches, height is 51 inches and opening is 27 x 34“. If you’re looking for an early primitive mantle, this is it unusual features such as the curved wood with the deep flutes. Please ask any and all questions before purchase.
