Description: The three-masted sailing ship with its rich and turbulent history bore two names on the side of the ship Gorch Fock and Towariszcz. In the mid-twentieth century, it was one of the fastest sailing ships in the world. The model shows a sailing ship from the 1970s. Offset printing; the model includes a set of laser cut frames arranged on 3 sheets of cardboard; history of the sailing ship and description of the construction - in four languages: Polish, English, German and Russian; illustrations by Grzegorz Nawrocki; model dimensions: length 890 mm. The ship, launched in 1933, was named Gorch Fock and became a training ship for the German Navy, Kriegsmarine. After renovation in 1946, it was given the name of Towariszcz, and he began training future sailors under the Soviet flag. The three-masted barge, with square sails on the first two masts and gaff sails on a stermast, was one of the fastest and most beautiful modern sailing ships in the world. Now renamed the Gorch Fock, it is a museum ship on the Stralsund harbor wharf. The Towariszcz model of the sailing ship shows the condition from the 1970s. The model is a serious challenge for a beginner modeler. Requires a lot of experience and patience during construction. The cutout is printed with the offset technique. This enables and is recommended to apply a colorless varnish on the colored pages before cutting them out. The model includes sheets with laser cut elements, the use of which greatly facilitates the work and eliminates burdensome activities during construction.
