Description: LONG WAVE UV Bright white fluorescence and strong phosphorescence on this partial Fossil and Carbonate mineral specimen. I found it along the shore of Lake Michigan and was very suprised at how brightly it fluoresced. I assume one of the Carbonate minerals such as Calcite is what may be fluorescing. I also cannot identify the remnant fossil portion but I assume one of the Brachiopods. Neat fluorescent specimen. From Fox Point, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, Lake Michigan shoreline. 15 grams. 3.1 cm length roughly. I do combine shipping!
