Description: This listing is for the chop plate in the Padua pattern. It is marked Franciscan Ware Made in California USA. It is 11 1/2 inches diameter. There are no chips or cracks or crazing, there are typical utensil scratches that happen when plates are used with a sharp knife. The colors are cream and brown. Everything on my hmnpwr site and my sister's 2vegburg site is from our parent's collections. They started collecting in the early 70's, mainly in the San Francisco Bay Area at the flea markets, shows, auctions, estate sales but they also traveled to LA or east to buy and sell. Their interests were mostly early American to midcentury American and Scandinavian ceramics. They also collected tableware, concentrating on California production.
