We freeze dry and package all meals in house. Each two cup bag of food is packaged in a resealable 7 mil mylar quart bag. Each package is heat sealed with an oxygen absorber inside. Stored this way, the freeze-dried foods have a 25-year storage life. Remove oxygen absorber and discard. Add boiling water to freeze dried meals until desired consistency achieved, allow food to rehydrated while covered. Freeze-Dried products are great for long term emergency food storage.
