Description: A charming hand painted Henriot Quimper pitcher featuring a Breton man with walking stick flanked by flower sprays on the front, flower bouquets on each side of a blue striped handle, and blue, black, and yellow banding at the rim and base. The handle on this piece has a reasonably well done repair of a break and a 1/4" long area of glaze crawling originating from firing (both pictured). There is also a 1/2" long chip and glaze wear/crawling on the rim (pictured). The wear and glaze crawling is typical for Quimper of this vintage, circa 1925-1930, but due to the handle repair and rim chip, this piece is significantly discounted; a chance to have an old rare piece for a small price. Dimensions are 5 1/2" tall x 5 1/2" wide x 4"deep.
