Description: Geissele Super Precision MountThe Geissele Super Precision Mount are designed to be used with a MSR. The mounting surface spans 7 picatinny sections and utilizes 4 shear lugs. The mounts have updates from the classic nut and bolt method for clamping the mount to the rail, which is the most secure method for users to attach their scope. Each nut and bolt combination provides 1,400 pounds of clamping force, much more than any lever mounting arrangement.The mounts are made from 7075-T6 high strength aluminum, and it is created from one single piece of billet aluminum. This process allows Geissele to add pockets and ribs throughout the mount for added strength, to line bore the caps to each other, and to serialize the caps to the body. The line bore operation creates the best possible fit to the body of the user’s scope so that they can apply proper torque without fear of crushing or damaging the body of their scope.These mounts will be available in Standard, Extended, and Hyper Extended lengths.
