This type of strap had the feature of having the holes closer together and towards the end of the strap. The item is well made and will hold up perfectly to actual use in the field. The overall length from end to end is 57cm (22 1/2"). It is $8.50 to ship this item anywhere in the US, Australia, NZ and most of Asia and only $7.50 within Europe. *** Please note that the strap may be a bit short at the begging of use since it is expected that the leather will stretch a bit with used and if exposed to the elements like rain etc. Also note that this strap is made to fit the original issue German WW2 mess kit and not any other.
