Needs a battery and it takes a Duracell N LRI/E90/MN9100 TYPE or equivalent. We temporarily put a battery in and it runs. No damage to the glass. We have a number of glass clocks in our eBay store if interested. In good pre-owned as purchased condition as pictured. Please note that this is a pre-owned item sold as is so may need a cleaning and polishing if desired. It shows some signs of minimal normal wear and minor scratches.
