I grow all sorts of fruits and so far, this fruit is on the top of my list. Yangmei has been cultivated in China for over 2000 years. Variety Description: WUSU The tree is a vigorous grower and the branches and leaves are dense, dark green, the leaves are full, ovate inverted lanceolate, and the apex is obtuse and a few slightly concave. The leaves are small, with an average length of 3.7 to 5.9 cm, a width of 1.4 to 2.3 cm, and a length-to-width ratio of 3.1. The fruit weighs about 16 grams. The ripe fruit color is purple-black to carbon black. The fruit is nearly spherical. The pulp is thick and soft, juicy and sweet, fragrant, small and crispy, and of high quality. The pedicel is purple-red, large and raised, 4-6 mm wide and 4 to 7 mm high. Each pud has a degenerate flower bud. 80-100 pieces of fresh fruit per kilogram, with an average width of 2.5 to 3.0 cm, a length of 2.5 to 2.9 cm, a weight of 12 grams, containing 13.4% soluble solids and 0.8% acids. Every 100ml of juice contains 51.5 milligrams of vitamin C, with an edible rate of 94%; Stores and transports well. The economic value is very high and the yield is medium. Generally, the annual fresh fruit of adult trees is about 40 kg. Although this variety has relatively high requirements for local conditions, the comprehensive evaluation believes that it is the best variety presently.
