Description: 1960s Double Anniversary It was professionally refinished at some point a long time ago - the current gloss finish is quite nice and appears professionally done (before i bought it) - no evidence of original finish color / stainI had it probably 10 years Recently I had a fret job performed With new binding with fret nibs and red dot markers Zero fret Which may date this as a 1968 - although Gretsch expert Luthier suspected it was earlierNo binding rot No neck reset needed Gretsch Bigsby added Rare BIGBSY bridge Tuners are Grover Pickups are original Mud switch and selector work as they should Though tips are not correct Guitar is very attractive with some flame maple in places If you want a great vintage Gretsch this may be the one for you A new generic hard case included - sturdy and strong - not worth wasting a photo on! if you are near or in NJ tristate area - you are more than welcome to visit and try this outI encourage it, it's a Unique guitar and may not be everyone's "cup of tea"....but then again...you may just fall in love with it
