Description: HANDYMAN CLUB OF AMERICA Canoe Pattern Pocketknife 2-blade: There actually is (or was) a HCOA (https://www.zircon.com/press-room/the-handyman-club-of-america-and-handy-magazine-give-the-studsensor-edge-their-coveted-seal-of-approval/). I bought this knife because it looks good and I like the pattern. I carried it briefly then retired it as I did with all my knives. (My preference is a knife with a pocketclip; oh! for a Buck Knife with a clip!) Blades are satin finished with etch on main. Blades are at opposite ends, springs provide good walk and talk without over-tight opening, a policy my thumbnails wish all cutlers would observe---no "break-in" required. Brass frame is square and solid like any good pocketknife. Bolsters are probably nickel steel though they have a slight brass look. Handles are a treat of colors: red, tan, black, brown to make a nice burnt wood-bark image. Badge has a nice bronze look. Value is attractive look and work-worthy performance. A good knife with no regrets of heritage. Mailing only to USA-48. Postage is usually between $5.00 and $6.26. Buyer pays $4.00, I will pay the rest. Please see my other knives and save postage. I am liquidating my entire collection; please keep me in your favorite sellers, watching for Old Bryan's Old Knives or the seller name below.
