However, we found that this size was too dense for our personal consumption, but it would be perfectly suitable to feed it to livestock. The picture shows our 1 1/2 year old matureplant, which grew approximately 5 feet tall. Because of our garden's ideal growing conditions and rich soil mixed with organic compost and worm castings, our kale seeds are much larger than the originally sowed.
