Description: Certified Organic 55% Hemp 45% Cotton Fleece Scraps Hemp is a wonderful fabric that can be used for multitude of products, from clothing, nursing pads, in cloth diapering to bath and body products such as washcloths and cleansing pads. It resists microbial growth (mold & fungus), so it is great for sensitive skin. By using products made from this material you not only limit the disposables that go directly into the landfill, but also support sustainable farming where there is no need for pesticides and herbicides. This is a wonderful super soft fabric which is what I use in my business to make majority of my products. It is the best quality hemp fleece out there. The smallest of scraps I actually throw in compost, but over time have accumulated various bigger sized scraps which can still be used for many things. My family uses it almost on daily basis, but I still have lots of scraps to go around. These can be used for just about anything that you would use a cotton swab, cotton pad or q-tip for: treating/cleaning boo-boos daily facial/skin cleansing makeup removal application of toners, astringents etc.nail polish removal craftssmallest of pieces (perhaps shredded even further) for stuffing toys, support pillows, etc.general cleaninganything that requires good absorption I have divided the scraps into 4 general sizes: 1x1 inches, 2x2 inches, 1x3 inches and longer, and 2x3 inches and longer - that would be the smallest size in each group, but most pieces will be larger. The pieces will be clean and unmarked. They may vary in color and texture slightly, as they may be from different lots, but are still the same quality grade. All have been prewashed before cutting. For reusable purposes, before you use and then wash the fabric the edges need to be serged or zigzag stitched, otherwise they will roll. This also can be avoided by sewing the pieces together or to another fabric. If you are interested in larger quantities than listed, please contact me, so I can include a special selection for you.
