HEN CHICKEN ROOSTER WITH CHICKS COOKIE JAR MADE IN ITALY NICE

Description: Acquired at an auction is this chicken cookie jar. It is beautiful with the coloring still being fresh and vibrant. Great over all patina. There are no chips or cracks that I could find but it does have some light crazing. Pictured on the comb is a spot where the glazing missed but I ran my finger across it and it is smooth so not a chip. It is in really good condition but could probably use a nice cleaning (which I have learned not to do). Great display piece. It stands about 10 inches tall and has nice heft to it. I tried to take pictures from every angle. Let the pictures be your guide as this is the exact item you will receive. Virtually every item I sell is not new. They are mainly purchased at auctions etc and will typically have some wear or might have a basement smell. I try my best to describe items exactly and let you know everything that I see but again these items have had a previous home. Just a note for bidders….I have had several auctions that had many people watching them. Then one person put through an acceptable offer which I took and everyone was upset saying they were going to bid. EBay stops offers once one bid is given…just saying that I don’t want anyone to miss out. Best of luck on this great item. A note on shipping charges…I ship almost every item USPS Priority mail. It is the most reliable and they give you $100 insurance on your item. I have had a few folks question the charges for shipping. I use their rate calculator with no mark up. I am in New Jersey so if you are in California it can get very pricy as they charge by weight, box size and distance. I had someone ask me why I just didn’t include it in the price but again it wouldn’t be fair for someone around the corner to pay the same as someone 3,000 miles away. I understand the frustration of high charges but it is out of my control. I of course will combine anything I can for shipping and then use a lower price but USPS charges what they charge.
