Description: Henkel Harris Mahogany Pembroke Table Model 5425. Overall excellent condition. Some light marks on top. Please see pictures. Manufactured July 1985 W18 D25 H26. Width 36 with leaves up. The Pembroke table design dates from circa 1750. Described as a portable table due to its delicate size. This style is characterized by oval or rectangular tops. Drop leaves with bracket supports usually with one or two drawers beneath top. This classic table with straight or tapered legs was probably name for the ninth Earl of Pembroke or his Countess, who may have ordered the first one. Rectangular top with two shaped and hinged leaves swingout bracket supports. Two drawers above decorated ogee braces. Square molded legs joined by double “Y” stretcher base.
