Attributed to Pedro Gatell Y Carnicer. IN SPANISH. I will provide a brief bit of information about this book obtained from Wikipedia: History of the most famous squire Sancho Panza , is the continuation of Don Quixote , published in two parts, the first in Madrid in 1793 , in the Royal Press, and the second in 1798 , in the Villalpando press. The first was written by the bachelor Pedro Gatell y Carnicer , and in the second it is said that Gatell died four years ago and that someone else continues the work. The first part begins with the description of Sancho Panza 's sorrow over the death of Don Quixote and how in his spare time he spends his time telling his neighbors about the adventures he lived with his master. The judgment and discretion that he displays makes him finally be named Mayor of his village, a position that he performs with great success. The second part recounts the miserable life of the former squire after having concluded his time as Mayor, and the adventures he suffers when he goes to Madrid to try to get some help from the Dukes, without being able to see them. Upon his return to the village he is unjustly accused of smuggling and imprisoned. Bachelor Carrasco manages to free him, thanks to the intervention of the Dukes. Sancho dies shortly after, a victim of so many troubles, and the Dukes, feeling sorry for him, assign a small life pension to his daughter.Pedro Gatell y Carnicer published three other works related to Don Quixote: The moral of Don Quixote , in two volumes (1789 and (1792), Economic and political instructions given by the famous Sancho Panza, Governor of the nsula Barataria, to one of his sons (1791) and the moral of the most famous squire Sancho Panza (1793).
